Thank You For Visiting Al Den-McKay's Fundraising Page
On the 15th of March 2008 I will be embarking on a bit of an adventure. I’m taking part in a Skiing endurance challenge to raise funds on behalf of SCOPE, the charity for people who live with cerebral palsy. Al-Cool_As_Ice

Find out more about SCOPE
The challenge is to ski 24 peaks in 48 hours on black and red (advanced grade) routes.  If you think this sounds easy then think again – it’s a similar distance to skiing Mount Everest from summit to Valley... twice!
Cerebral palsy is the most commonly diagnosed physical condition in the UK, and occurs around the time of birth when part of the brain fails to develop properly. It can happen to any child in any family.  SCOPE is one of the charities working with people with cerebral palsy, their families and their carers.

Your sponsorship money will allow SCOPE to continue running their vital services which are designed to support disabled people in every aspect of their lives from birth and through adulthood.  SCOPE aims, as far as possible, to achieve equality and normality for people who live with cerebral palsy.

I have pledged to raise a minimum amount of £1500 for SCOPE and with your help we might even exceed this.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online by clicking on the donate button on the left.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: SCOPE will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. To do this, ensure you tick the box on the online form or on my sponsorship form.

Thanks so much for supporting me.  I will be updating the site during the build-up and also after the event with photos and the all important grand total of how much we raised.
