> Caisson Hanger / Retrieval Tool

STATS Caisson Hanger / Retrieval Tools are used to safely secure damaged or corroded caissons in position, until a planned retrieval back to the platform can be performed using the same tool.

The internal clamping system features a twin module design each with its own set of independently controlled locks, based on the Tecno Plug™ taper lock-ring design. This system provides axial and lateral stabilisation within the caisson and can operate in a caisson with varying wall thicknesses.

The modular design of the tool allows easy construction in areas of limited space, and can be configured to varying lengths to allow for a choice of set positions within the caisson up to a maximum of 10 meters apart.

24" Caisson Hanger / Retrieval Tool

Key Features:
Fractured caisson safely recovered using Caisson Hanger/ Retrieval Tool
Tool retains caisson securely until repair or replacement.
Locking system based on taper lock-ring and segmented lock assembly.
Hydraulically actuated locks grip internal wall of caisson.
Independent locks can set in caissons with varying wall thicknesses.
Modular design allows tool configuration to suit caisson defects.
Tension cable supplies self-energisation effect when pre-tension is applied.
Once pre-tension is applied to support rigging, hydraulic actuation circuit is redundant.
Tool removed by releasing tension and hydraulically de-activating locks.
