The STATS design engineering department utilises state of the art 3D modeling and Finite Element Analysis in conjunction with engineering calculations and design processes ensuring compliance with piping and pipeline codes and standards. As well as supporting standard product lines this capability also supports feasibility studies, product development, R&D and project specific bespoke engineering solutions.
STATS have built their reputation on having the ability to deliver fit for purpose solutions to the most challenging of piping configurations and have an enviable reputation for taking ‘the impossible’ and delivering the possible, in many cases on a fast track basis to suit the clients timescales. The example shown below is of a water leak on a flanged joint at the interface with a caisson. Situated inside a jacket leg, this was engineered, delivered and fitted successfully with the support of a rope access team in a 4-day window from enquiry to completion. |
