STATS have designed a range of ROV and Diver installable Riser Securing Clamps for safe disconnection and lowering of flexible risers allowing replacement or abandonment. The Riser Securing Clamps facilitate an alternative (contingency) method of safely disconnecting and lowering risers in the event that the rapid release coupling becomes compromised or fails to function properly. The Riser Securing Clamps are designed with load bearing pads that locate on the underside of the riser end termination flange to allow flange separation operations.

Counterbalanced arms are engineered to maintain the correct angle of the riser and provide safe rigging points to ensure that the rigging does not snag on the RRC structure during the release and controlled descent of the riser.
