Tell us about your role?

My role within STATS as a Projects Support Team Lead involves working closely with the Project Managers and Engineers to ensure successful delivery of Isolations, Interventions, Engineered Solutions and EPRS projects to the Client. Each project is different and with the evolution of the business my days are never the same. I am involved in all aspects from award of project, through Design, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Testing and Mobilisation.

What do you enjoy about working at STATS Group?

What I love most about working at STATS is that although the business has been expanding substantially over the last four years since I started, it has still maintained its personal touch and makes you feel like you’re part of a big family. The Directors have always been extremely personable which makes everyone fully committed to do their best to make STATS as successful as possible. I feel proud to be part of the growth and progression of STATS, seeing new offices successfully opening on a global scale.

Tell us about your journey through STATS Group?

I initially came to STATS as Commercial Coordinator in 2010, however there was a gap in the Projects Team for a Projects Coordinator and I was asked if I would like to fill the requirement in 2012. Since that time, the Projects team has expanded to twice its size and is still recruiting; I myself have now progressed to Projects Support Team Lead as the Support Team has grown.

Why did you choose to join STATS Group?

I was previously working for a global blue-chip organisation with over 100,000 employees, where I worked in a specific department, only interacted with a small number of people and did not see how my involvement affected the success of the company. When I applied for a position at STATS I immediately recognised that I could make an impact in my role and was encouraged to make a difference to STATS growth and future.

What were your initial impressions on joining the company?

When I first joined STATS my immediate instinct was that all Directors and colleagues were so welcoming and the company had a great future that I wanted to be part of. The services and technology that STATS provide interested me and it was clear to me that STATS was a company that would be successful and was on a path to grow substantially.
