Job Purpose:

The Business Development Manager will join a dynamic team that provides piping and pipeline maintenance, integrity and isolation technology and services to oil and gas facility operators and related industries. STATS is a dynamic, growing company, both geographically and technologically.

The Business Development Manager is the face of the organization, developing existing client relationships and initiating new ones. Directly Reports To
  • General Manager

Main Responsibilities
  • Source and develop client relationships and referrals
  • Develop and execute territory sales and marketing plans
  • Promote sales to new and existing clients
  • Represent STATS at trade shows and conferences
  • Assess client needs
  • Maintain STATS sales and account databases, including AX and Salesforce
  • Respond to and prepare proposals, estimates, quotations

Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities:
  • To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paper work is completed.

  • STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical trade/college Diploma
  • 3-5 years of sales experience, either inside sales or outside sales
  • Understanding of Pipeline market, onshore and offshore, in US
  • Knowledge of Microsoft AX and Salesforce would be an advantage
  • Ease of working with technical and non-technical decision makers
  • Ability to learn and appreciate hydraulic mechanical systems
  • Self-motivated, with ability to use own initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Spanish written and verbal is an advantage
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
