Job Purpose:
  • To support the growing business and increased short term mobilisations in Qatar.

  • Operations Manager

  • Operations Team and Technicians
External Relationships
  • Clients / Suppliers
Main Responsibilities
  • Improved efficiencies within the workshop technician teams, where their effort will be used assembling tools, remotes etc.
  • Improved traceability, filing and adherence to process. Recent internal audit highlighted the need for more efficient document control for traceability. 
  • Improved efficiencies in the growing project engineering team, due to operational admin support etc.
  • Maintaining asset tracking SharePoint site for better utilisation and visibility of assets.
  • Supply chain improvement. Support project team and workshop with purchase requests, purchase orders and control of vendors.
  • Improved quality records, equipment build lists.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities:
  • To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.
Internal Training Requirements:
  • Environmental Awareness
  • COSHH Awareness
  • Manual Handling
  • STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
  • Highly motivated with the ability to motivate others
  • Computer literate
  • Admin / experience within a similar role
  • Qatar driving license

  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to be flexible in working practices
  • A positive attitude and pleasant manner towards fellow staff and suppliers
  • Good communication skills
