Support the management, maintenance and use of STATS client owned EPRS fleet which is based within Qatar.
Support the implementation of improvements to the EPRS project management, procedures and tools used.
Support the training of workshop technicians.
Manage the stock levels of EPRS ancillaries and spares.
Co-ordinate all aspects of project work and ensure that the work delivered adheres to company quality procedures, international codes, client requirements and specifications.

Internal Relationships: Workshop Technician(s), Operations Engineer(s) and Project Engineer(s)
Directly Reports to: Qatar Operations Manager
Indirectly Reports to: Product Line Manager, EPRS Contracts / Asset Manager
Directly Supervises: N/A
External Relationships: Clients, Client Contractors, 3rd Party Inspectors and Sub-Contractors.
Ensure EPRS equipment is in a state of readiness at all times and ensure STATS can be ready within the given call-off period.
Ensure the on-time delivery of projects.
Ensure the timely and satisfactory completion of EPRS maintenance activities.
Ensure that all project requirements are executed in a timely and cost-effective manner in line with project schedules and cost budgets.
Report on forecast invoice milestone dates and ensure relevant invoices are raised in a timely manner.
Conduct key internal meetings including project kick-offs, design reviews, operational risk reviews, pre-FATs, readiness reviews and Field pre-mobilisation handovers.
Create project specific engineering deliverables and agree completion dates.
Attend client meetings, risk assessment, HAZID’s, HAZOPs and HIRA’s as required.
Report regularly to clients on project progress using progress reports and attending progress meetings.
Generate project documentation in line with project schedule: Ensure purchase requisitions, item requirements and assembly and test requests are raised; ensure test procedures are approved and in place at the appropriate time; ensure operational procedures are approved and issued to the field team in a timely manner; compile mobilisation list and ensure relevant certification, COSHH, MSDS and dangerous goods paper work are prepared prior to equipment dispatch and; ensure all contract variations are raised and issued in accordance with client or company procedures in a timely manner.
Ensure key project gates are achieved and supporting documentation completed.
Attend bi-weekly project meetings prepared with populated bi-weekly project reports
Provide ad-hoc support to field team to control infield management of change scenarios.
Individual Quality & Safety Responsibilities
Comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures.
Ensure all accidents, incidents, near misses, hazards are immediately reported and relevant paper work is completed.
Establishing, maintaining and championing engineering best practice and standards.
BSc/BEng or equivalent in Mechanically biased subjects.
Relevant oil & gas industry experience or similar heavy engineering industry experience.
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
3 Years previous experience in the role of Project Engineer.
Strong knowledge of STATS EPRS range which includes: Remote Tecno Plugs, Tethered Tecno Plugs, Through Pipewall Communications Systems, Subsea Communications Systems, Tecno Plug Tracking Systems, BISEPs, Hot Tap Clamps, Slab Valves, Strap Clamps and Mobilisation Kits.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic, team player, but be able to work using own initiative.
