STATS has successfully designed a bespoke engineered solution for a valued client to be installed offshore in the North Sea.
These clamps were to be utilised on a bend section operating under pressure of 222 bar, as part of a topside flowline repair.
This solution was specifically designed and tailored to meet client requirements, highlighting STATS dedication to achieving high levels of customer satisfaction. The clamps were fully compliant to the client piping system with a design life of 25 years, negative temperature rating of -45°C and were also UKCA marked in accordance with the PER.
The installation location was tight due to it being underneath the Platform and the requirement to design the clamps to fit on a bend presented some challenges. However, through teamwork and innovation, STATS overcame these barriers, resulting in a successfully executed project.
