Job Purpose:
-
To provide asset management, engineering, project and commercial support to the PPS product line within the STATS regional base.
Directly Reports To
- Project Manager
along with
- Operations Manager
Main Responsibilities
- To provide PPS service from initial customer contact to the completion of the job.
- Responsible for all aspects of job control from quotation to successful job completion. This will include assessing job requirements, submitting quotations and contract variations where applicable and ensuring timely delivery of job and client satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations and job specific work procedures tailored to the work scope requirements and or proposed solutions, plan and successfully execute job orders to meet client requirements and expectations.
- To ensure all customer enquiries are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner.
- To ensure that the internal processes and quality standards are adhered to at all times.
- Continually work to retain and extend the PPS customer base.
- Continually work to increase the PPS product market share.
- To ensure all customer grievances are dealt with in a prompt and competent mannermanner.
- Supporting standardization of the PPS product line.
- Prepare front end assessment sketches for technical review of PPS scopes prior to preparation of commercial bid.
- Ensure drawings are produced to meet project requirements.
- Attend client meetings where required.
- Ensure PPS equipment is delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Manage the fleet of PPS tooling, ensuring equipment is well maintained and held in a state of readiness.
- Support the Proposal and Bids team with technical assessment and pricing for PPS scopes.
individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities:
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- To comply with STATS integrated Management System when carrying out project engineering tasks.
- Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is completed.
Qualifications
- Standard Grades, Higher Grades or equivalent.
- Oil and Gas industry experience would be advantageous.
- HNC / HND in an engineering discipline.
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
- Relevant engineering or operational background.
- Mechanical background with a basic understanding of assembly and pressure testing techniques.
- Oil and Gas topside, process or pipeline experience.
- Technical writing skills.
- Computer literate: MC Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Project co-ordination experience
- Asset Fleet management experience
- Proposal and Bids experience preferred but not essential.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
- Appreciation and understanding of environment and health and safety responsibilities.
