Job Purpose
  • All shipping and receiving transactions.
  • To survey/inspect components, materials and assemblies supplied to or produced by STATS for compliance with drawings, purchase orders, codes and standards.
  • To ensure that the high quality of STATS products are maintained.
  • To provide general support to local team on all QHSE and Technician matters.

Main Responsibilities
  • Be familiar with the requisition requirements and equipment/material specifications.
  • Be fully familiar with the verification and inspection release processes and ensure their compliance.
  • Review supplier/subcontractor fabrication/certification dossiers.
  • Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified and retained in accordance with company, client and regulatory requirements.
  • At all times to represent the company in a professional and effective manner.
  • Work to and maintain a high standard of quality to the STATS products and services to ensure that all defect to material, components or equipment is reported to your supervisor.
  • Ensure all relevant drawings, procedures and instructions are to the latest revisions, prior to work commencing.
  • Pro-active in the proposal and introduction of new assembly and testing techniques to improve productivity or safety.
  • To liaise with the workshop team on any issues arising.
  • To report any environmental and health & safety issues that arise.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times to protect all colleagues, clients and equipment.
  • Ensure all shipping paperwork is correct and completed in a timely manner.
  • Help with all other workshop tasks when available.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities
  • To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.
Experience 
  • Knowledge of dimensional testing and manufacturing.
  • Mechanical trade with good all-round understanding of oilfield equipment assembly, machining, welding and pressure testing techniques.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings/specifications etc.
  • The use of assembly and test equipment and test tools in a safe manner.
  • Ability to use inspection equipment.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work as part of a small focused team working to high standards with client lead times being the delivery driver.
  • Flexibility and shift working on occasions required.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
