Job Purpose:
  • To provide frontline QHSE support and direction for STATS Pipeline LLC and to promote a positive safety culture and maintain visibility of QHSE issues ensuring a best in class culture throughout the company.

External Relationships
  • Local regulative authorities, client, sub-contractors and third-party auditors
Main Responsibilities
  • To ensure STATS Pipeline LLC with all applicable legislative, industry and corporate governance.
  • To implement industry best practice and develop STATS Pipeline LLC management systems to achieve and maintain exemplary QHSE performance and relevant ISO accreditations.
  • Active participation in projects providing QHSE guidance, risk management, permitting and legislative advice.
  • Coordinate and lead QHSE audits.
  • Active participation in, safety meetings, risk assessments and audits, both internal and external.
  • Provide QHSE support during operational incidents and subsequent reporting and investigation QHSE performance monitoring and intervention.
  • Review existing company QHSE systems framework including their respective standards, policies, processes, and associated forms.
  • Interpret, recommend, and implement improvements where applicable.
  • Create an audit schedule to review QHSE specific policies and procedures on a regular basis.
  • Supervise and assist company and third-party personnel engaged in QHSE audits or reviews.
  • Compile and analyze statistical data and write internal and external QHSE reports summarizing QHSE performance for presentation to management on a regular basis.
  • Ensure all QHSE records and data are up to date.
  • Support the continual development and improvement of the companies integrated management system in line expectations.
  • Develop and support the use of Share point IMS and reference libraries to ensure QHSE is available throughout the organization and is in a controlled system.
  • Support the international development and continued growth of the company ensuring we maintain and enhance our best-in-class ethos on a global scale.
  • Ensure continual improvement throughout QHSE management in a ‘realistic’ and focused manner.
  • Identify constraints within the QHSE and operational functions of the company and develop and implement change of practice in a manner that allows the company to remain operationally focused as it grows.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities:
  • To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times
  • Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete
INTERNAL TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
  • Environmental Awareness.
  • COSHH Awareness.
  • Manual Handling.
  • STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level
Qualifications
  • Recognized professional QHSE qualification or NEBOSH certificate or equivalent level of qualification.
  • Lead auditor trainer (preferable but not essential).
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of UK / Qatar QHSE legislative requirements and ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Risk assessment management.
  • Incident investigation.
  • Auditing, both internal and external.

  • Able to work on own initiative.

  • Ability to prioritize and plan work.
  • Good communicator/approachable.
  • Influencer/ Coordinator.
