Job purpose
  • Provide technical assurance to both Client and STATS personnel as required
  • Provide technical support and assurance to all of STATS regional entities as required
  • Assist with the management of STATS asset fleet
  • Assist with the development of new systems and technology
  • Manage all aspects of project work and ensure that the work delivered adheres to company quality procedures, international codes, client requirements and specifications
  • Manage and coordinate efficiency improvement projects
  • Assist in the creation and approval of training materials and standard operating procedures
  • Prepare standards for operations to support in the improvement of the global standardisation process.
  • Assist with commercial support on opportunities, proposals and tenders

Main Responsibilities
  • Technical Support for Projects
    • Document Review (OPS/FAT/RA/ITP etc.)
    • Design Reviews
    • Risk Reviews
    • Operational (Site) Planning
    • NCI support.
    • Field Support / On Call
    • Client Meeting Support (HAZOP/HAZID/Kick Off Meetings)
    • Attend design/operations meetings
  • Standard Documentation & Training Materials
    • Creation
    • Revision
    • Development
    • Standardisation
  • Product Development 
  • Input to, and review of, product development activities 
  • Management of the preventative maintenance programmes for STATS products 
  • Reliability Monitoring 
  • Design Support Global Operations Support 
  • Stock Management 
  • Assist with training as required 
  • Create manufacturing requests as required 
  • Create ERFs/ECRs as required 
  • CAPEX creation for new asset/asset improvement 
  • Management of CAPEX Projects 
  • Management of Upgrade Projects 
  • Asset Allocation 
  • Improvement Projects Commercial Support 
  • Review of client supplied data 
  • Population of opportunity checklists with parameter 
  • Identification of equipment requirements 
  • Assign asset and create asset report 
  • Creation of story boards, method statements, projects schedules and other tender specific documents
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities
  • To comply with STATS Integrated Management System when carrying out project engineering tasks.
  • To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported to the QHSE team
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
  • Project management experience.
  • Client management experience.
  • Supplier management experience.
  • Research & development experience.
  • Micro-hydraulic system knowledge and experience.
  • Electrical & Electronics experience.
  • Good technical writing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of STATS product range (only applicable if the successful candidate is internal) which includes:
    • Remote Tecno Plugs
    • BISEP’s & Hot Tapping
    • Mobilisation Kits · IT skills – MS office – Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Project
    • Microsoft AX12 experience.
Qualifications
  • BSc / BEng or equivalent in Mechanically biased subjects.
    • Alternatively, extensive experience (3 years or more) in a similar role.
  • Time Served, Experienced Technician with experience of similar hardware.
  • Experience of STATS products and processes would be beneficial.
  • Relevant Oil & Gas industry experience or similar engineering industry experience.
