Job Purpose
A STATS Business Development Manager is expected to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating strategic partnerships. They shall develop and implement effective business strategies, analysing market trends to pinpoint potential areas for expansion.
They shall be expected to lead negotiations, establish relationships with key stakeholders, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with the company's goals.
This role demands strong analytical skills, exceptional communication, and a proactive approach to problem solving to successfully navigate competitive markets and foster sustainable business growth.

Main Responsibilities
- Creating, managing and maintaining CRM data.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive the revenue growth plan in the allocated sector/business stream.
- Identifying and developing new product opportunities and business development strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with clients and partners.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Actively promote the new and existing clients the STATS product range and the relative benefits compared to other products.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.
- Conduct all business in compliance with company ethics and guidelines.

- STATS Internal Courses – Basic Level
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge
- A minimum of 3 years industry experience within a client facing role.
or - A minimum of 5 years sales experience.
Qualifications
- HND or Degree qualified in engineering or relevant business area beneficial but not essential.
Personal Qualities
- Highly numerate.
- Commercial acumen.
- Demonstrate experience in Energy Industry roles.
- Engaging, trustworthy and open personality.
- Highly self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
