Job Purpose:
- The Quality Manager - Canada is responsible for ensuring that all STATS Group operations, including pipeline isolation and intervention services are delivered in full compliance with company standards, client specifications, and applicable Canadian regulations. The role safeguards the integrity, reliability, and safety of products and services by maintaining an effective Quality Management System, and driving continuous improvement promoting a strong quality culture across all Canadian operations.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Quality Management System (QMS)
- Maintain and continuously improve the QMS in line with ISO and STATS Group global standards.
- Ensure all procedures, work instructions, and documentation are current, controlled, and effectively implemented.
- Lead internal and external audits, including certification and client audits.
2. Operational Quality Assurance
- Support project teams to ensure quality requirements are defined and met for pipeline intervention projects.
- Oversee inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality plans and job-specific documentation.
- Ensure traceability and certification of equipment and materials used in field operations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Canadian regulations and standards (e.g., CSA, provincial requirements)
- Act as the primary interface for quality-related matters with clients, regulators, and third parties.
- Support incident investigations and ensure corrective/preventive actions are implemented.
4. Supplier & Subcontractor Quality

Evaluate and monitor supplier and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure vendors meet STATS Group quality requirements and certifications.
- Conduct supplier audits and manage non-conformance issues.
5. Non-Conformance & Continuous Improvement
- Manage non-conformance reporting (NCR), root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Track quality KPIs and identify trends for improvement.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across Canadian operations.
6. Training & Competency
- Promote quality awareness across operational and engineering teams.
- Support competency assurance related to procedures, inspections and documentation.
- Deliver quality-related training where required.
7. Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and complete project quality records and final documentation packages.
- Provide regular reporting on quality performance to regional and global leadership.
- Maintain document control systems align with corporate standards.

Qualifications:
- Mechanical trade with good all round understanding of assembly and pressure testing techniques.
- All round experience of oilfield processes and safety controls.
Experience / Competence / Skills / Knowledge:
- Experience with computer numeric controlled machinery.
- Knowledge of metal working processes and techniques.

Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities:
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.
