Life-Saving Rules

STATS Group has adopted the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) Life-Saving Rules - a simplified, industry-wide set of critical safeguards designed to eliminate workplace fatalities.

Adopting the IOGP Life-Saving Rules:

• Enables better transfer of knowledge, experience and lessons learned across the industry
• Increases individual awareness and ownership of the critical safeguards that prevent fatalities
• Creates a common safety language that supports consistent implementation across operators and contractors
• Supports industry standardisation to help eliminate fatalities in the workplace

We are committed to preventing harm to the environment from our operational activities - and to making a positive contribution wherever we can. Our environmental management processes are designed to identify risks, reduce our operational footprint and ensure compliance with all applicable environmental legislation.

This commitment extends beyond our own operations. The products and services we provide help our clients reduce emissions from their pipeline infrastructure - avoiding unnecessary venting and flaring, and enabling maintenance to be carried out safely without depressurising entire pipeline systems.

As we work towards net-zero by 2045 or sooner, our environmental commitments continue to evolve, underpinned by the targets and reporting set out in our Sustainability Strategy.
