Job Purpose
-
Promotion and market development of STATS Products and Services.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining and growing STATS client base in allocated region.
- Creating, managing and maintaining CRM data in Sales Hopper.
- Identifying and developing new product opportunities.
- Responsible for collating and building market intelligence and sales strategy.

- Head of Sales & BD - Qatar

- Operations, Legal and Compliance, Project Team, Management, QHSE, other STATS regions

- Clients, Key Supplier

Main Responsibilities
- Conduct all business in compliance with company ethics and guidelines.
- Meet with both new and existing clients to promote STATS in the market place and expand the client awareness of the STATS organization and capabilities.
- Actively promote to new and existing clients STATS product range and the relative benefits compared to other products.
- Arrange and perform site demo’s of equipment as required.
- Identify market gaps where STATS product range could be expanded or has an alternative use etc. and liaise with the team to exploit the gaps.
- Preparation of proposals and budgets for GM approval and issuance to clients.
- Arrangement and participation in exhibition and sales events.
- Travel, attendance and participation in internal sales meetings and events.
- Gaining market intelligence on competitors and analysis of strengths/weaknesses.
- Work towards the allocated sales target $, Demonstrate delivery against allocated and agreed targets.
- Entry and management of sales opportunities within the Sales Hopper.
- Positive contribution to the Sales & Marketing plan for the allocated territory.
- Complete meeting reports and allocate clear, timed and measurable follow up actions.
- Generate sales visit schedule to demonstrate planned and organized approach to enhancing relationships with new and existing clients.

- Promote and uphold the highest standards of ethics in compliance with Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Policy.
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.

EXPERIENCE / Competence / skills / knowledge
- Sales Role experience
- Experience of similar technical role
- Engineering background
Qualifications
- HND or Degree qualified (level 2.1 or higher) in engineering or relevant business experience.
Personal Qualities
- Excellent communicator
- Good presentation skills
- Outgoing and engaging with clients
- Motivated and quick to respond to client requirements
- Self starter who can work autonomously
- Good Commercial skills incl numeracy, negotiation, budget preparation
- Must be a good team player
