Job Purpose
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth for a company. They are responsible for creating and executing business plans, forecasting sales targets, and ensuring the company's sales goals are met.

external relationships
  •  Clients, Key Supplier

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across upstream, midstream, and downstream segments in Oil & Gas Sector in Qatar.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in national and international oil companies, EPC contractors, and government agencies.
  • Deliver technical presentations on STATS product and services to the clients and provide solutions to the clients with consultation with STATS technical team.
  • Lead tendering processes, RFP responses, and commercial proposals in coordination with technical and Commercial teams.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Represent the company at oil & gas exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
  • Develop strategic alliances and joint ventures to support long-term growth.
  • Collaborate closely with projects, operations, engineering, and finance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain detailed records of pipeline opportunities in CRM systems and provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Support contract negotiations and facilitate commercial closings.
  • Guide BD Engineers to focus on high -priority client or segments, Bespoke Technical inputs for specific opportunity, technical /commercial support on proposals, technical presentation & solutions for clients etc.
  • Work towards the allocated sales target $.
  • Entry and management of sales opportunities within the Sales Hopper.
  • Generate sales visit schedule to demonstrate planned and organized approach to enhancing relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Arrangement and participation in exhibition and sales events.

  • To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.

EXPERIENCE / Competence / skills / knowledge
  • The top 5 skills include communication and interpersonal skills, negotiation skills, research and strategy, business intelligence, and networking.

Qualifications 
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Sales/ Accounting is preferred
  • Engineering Background with mechanical specialization is added advantage for Industry
