Group Quality Manager

Job Purpose
- The Group Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) and Integrated Management System (IMS) across all global operations. This role ensures compliance with international standards, oversees Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities, and coordinates ISO audits for the group. The position drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

- Clients, ISO Certification Bodies.
Directly supervises
- Group Quality Team.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop strategy, implement, and maintain the global QMS/IMS in alignment with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure consistent application of quality policies and procedures across all regions and business units.
- Oversee QA and QC processes for products, services, and operations.
- Monitor and report on quality performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for non-conformances.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external ISO audits (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Ensure timely closure of audit findings and maintain certification status for all group entities.
- Drive initiatives to continually improve quality performance, reduce defects, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Promote a culture of quality and operational excellence throughout the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to regional quality teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, HSE, HR) to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities
- To comply with STATS and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
- Ensure all accidents / incidents / near misses / hazards are immediately reported and relevant paperwork is complete.

Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quality management within a global or multi-site organization. In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and audit processes.
- Proven experience in QA/QC, continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Skills & Competencies

- Ability to manage multiple priorities across different regions and cultures.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Proficient in quality management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related discipline (Master’s preferred).

Travel requirements
- International travel is required to support audits, training, and quality initiatives.
