STATS Group has announced a number of promotions and appointments as it gears up to extend its international footprint and capture increased market share.
Ryan Holt, who began his career with STATS in 2014 as a graduate engineer, has been appointed General Manager for UK and Europe and will focus on operations, strategy, and growth in the region.
His progress at the Aberdeenshire-headquartered business has seen Ryan succeed as a project engineer, lead project engineer, and project engineering manager before this latest promotion.
STATS Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Rawlinson, said: “Ryan has excelled at every role he has taken on and he understands the value we place on building a strong and sustainable UK/European regional business by meeting our client expectations through the safe delivery of industry leading products and services.
Also supporting STATS European growth strategy, the company has appointed Mike Kaiser as Business Development Manager, Europe.

Based in Emmen, the Netherlands, Mike will strengthen STATS’ Europe customer reach in the traditional oil and gas sector while developing opportunities in the emerging hydrogen and carbon capture markets.
He will report to Head of Sales and Business Development Europe, Andy Norrie, who said: “Mike’s focus will be the supply of pressurised pipeline isolation, hot tapping and line stopping services to the European gas transmission and distribution markets, along with promoting our extensive range of hydrostatic test tools, pipe-end plug and cold-work mechanical pipe connectors.
“He will look to emulate our success in the UK onshore and offshore markets, while tapping into opportunities across the continent as they prepare for net-zero transition with the repurposing of gas pipeline infrastructure for hydrogen transportation.”
Mike Kaiser, who previously held commercial responsibility with a Netherlands-based pipeline, nitrogen, and refinery service company, commented: “STATS clients can expect a solutions-focused approach that is both innovative and practical, with services tailored to meet their specific needs. My priority will be to build strong, lasting relationships based on trust, reliability, and consistent delivery.”
